What this game hosts
The songs marked BUILT IN in the library are stored on this site. We only host music we have the right to host.
What it does not host
- Songs you add yourself (marked MY SONGS) stay on your own device. They are kept in your browser and are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- Your own audio files, used to play a community chart, also stay on your device.
- Community charts are not stored here. When chart search is switched on, your browser fetches a chart straight from the community site it comes from. Charts are credited to the people who made them, and each one links back to its source page on Chorus Encore.
Where community charts come from
Community charts are found through Chorus Encore, a search site for charts made by players. The game searches it for you and fetches a chart from there when you pick one; a chart's song page links back to its page on Chorus Encore. ShredJam is not part of Chorus Encore.
The player who made a chart is named as its charter, on the song page and in the Browse list. A chart taken from an official game, not made by a player, names no charter.
Asking for something to be removed
If something here is yours and you want it gone, write to us and include:
- your name and how to reach you;
- what the work is, and why you are the owner or act for the owner;
- where it appears in the game: the song name, and the link or chart page if there is one;
- a short statement that you did not allow this use.
Where to write:
What happens next
We remove what you point us to promptly. If another person uploaded it, we tell them where it was and why. A community chart is only linked from here, so we stop linking to it; the file itself sits on a service we do not run, and you may need to write to that service as well.
Repeat infringers
Anyone who keeps sharing things they have no right to share loses access to the game's sharing features.
